With over 60 participating galleries, even with a map, finding each of the venues you are interested in visiting is a chore.
With the new Hong Kong ArtWalk 2010 Augmented Reality Layer, you will never get lost on your way to your favourite gallery again.

Using the Layar Reality Browser, you can use your phone's camera to help you find your way.

The Layar Reality Browser shows what is around you by displaying real time digital information on top of reality through the camera of your
mobile phone.

Best of all, it's FREE!

  1. Get the Layar Reality Browser. If you have an iPhone, get it from the iPhone App Store. .
  2. Or, if you have an Android phone, get it from the Android Market
  3. Download, install and run  the Layar Reality Browser.
  4. Select "Local Layers" (if you are currently in the Central, Sheung Wan, Admiralty, or Wanchai districts in Hong Kong)
  5. Or, search for "Hong Kong ArtWalk"
  6. Select the "Hong Kong ArtWalk 2010" layer.

That's it! It's that easy. Now you can use your phone's camera to find your favourite art galleries participating in this year's Art Walk!
